There is a 15% buyer premium that applies to all purchases, as does VA sales tax. Receive a 3% discount off the premium by paying with cash or good check.  Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, Inc. is a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer (FFL). All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply. Background checks will be conducted at pickup. Valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID with current physical address is required. (PO Boxes not accepted.) Recently issued IDs must meet the 30-day issuance requirement unless supported by DMV records. Transfer fee: $15 per transaction $20 flat fee for 4 or more firearms transferred in one day Virginia Regulations: Without a valid concealed handgun permit: 1 handgun per 30 days With a valid concealed handgun permit: no limit No limit on long guns with approved background check Non-Virginia Residents: VA law requires Non-Virginia Residents to transfer handguns to an FFL in their home state. Handguns must be shipped to a FFL Dealer in your home state and the transfer must be completed there. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs incurred. *Please note this rule only applies to handguns.  Any long gun purchases/transfers can be completed in Virginia.  Important: Buyers must be legally eligible to own firearms. Do not bid if you do not meet all legal requirements.  

Summer Equipment Auction - Preview/Open House: Saturday, June 27th from 9am-NOON & Monday, June 29th from 10am-5pm - Auction Closes: Monday, June 29th beginning at 7pm - Pickup: Tuesday, June 30th / Wednesday, July 1st / Thursday, July 2nd / Friday, July 3rd from 9am-6pm by appointment only.   Pickup is scheduled over 4 days. If you’re unable to make the scheduled pickup, a $25 convenience fee will apply for arranging an alternate pickup. Pickup will be by appointment only. You will receive a text following the conclusion of the auction which will direct you to sign up for an available pickup time slot.  Please Note - All items are sold as-is and where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. No out of state personal checks will be accepted. Bring your ST-18 or ST-10 Forms for tax exempt.  Frequently asked questions: Do you have any equipment to help load?  Yes, We have a telehandler. There will be staff on duty to assist with loading. Where/ How do I pay? You can pay with Cash, Card, Check, Wire, or Cashiers Check. Please come to the lower garage where we will accept your payment and print your receipt. You will need a paid receipt before loading.  What if I am Tax Exempt? Please bring the applicable tax forms filled out to pickup. We will keep a copy of your tax form on file (must be updated yearly). *We cannot accept out-of state tax exempt certificates. Virginia does not honor out of state tax exemptions.
